Thai style tamarind sauce

Kai look-kuey sauce.  
A fantastic way to serve eggs: hard boil the eggs, then deep fry them until golden, cut into halves and serve covered in this sauce (preheated for a couple of mins), garnished with spring onion and coriander leaves.

Ingredients:  Palm sugar, water, corn syrup, shallot, fish sauce, red chilli, soybean oil, tamarind paste and monosodium glutamate.  (No colourings or preservatives added).
